Let’s start with quality. Optimum Nutrition (ON) makes all their products in what is called a “cGMP” or GMP-compliant facilities. ON has NSF for Sport GMP certification, which certification means raw ingredient sourcing, facility cleanliness, manufacturing processes, employee training, and non-inclusion of banned substances are all a part of such certification. And this certification is an ongoing audit as well — it’s not a one-time thing.

The ON BCAA Pro has all of those ingredients. Plus, it has 8 grams of the aforementioned BCAAs. It also has 5 grams of L-Glutamine. This amino acid also supports exercise recovery, immune function and muscle mass synthesis. ON doesn’t say why they added grape seed extract and red wine grape extract but a reasonable supposition is due to their high antioxidant effects. (There are other health benefits to those two elements but are beyond the scope of this article.)
