Review of Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenz

Is the Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenz "superfood" a good product? Is it nutritious? What is it made of? That's what this review is all about.

Rating: 1 (out of 5)

UPDATE: Due to Dishonest Business Practices, I No Longer Recommend Xtend-Life’s Products. Their Products Also Include Questionable Ingredients.

Welcome to this review of the Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenz superfood product. This product is made by the well regarded Xtend-Life company headquarted in New Zealand. They offer many health supplements and even a men’s and women’s skincare product line as well.

They are venturing into the “superfood” category as they clearly see opportunity in this category. According to researchers, 80% of Americans Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenzare undernourished. (It’s probably the same in the UK, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom as well.) This food is designed, the company says, to help remedy that nutritional deficit in a convenient and safe way.

Let’s now get into the review.

Product Quality

If you have ever read any other reviews on this website, you know I always dedicate a portion of the beginning of the review to product quality. I think this is so very vital as the supplement industry has been utterly inundated with fraud (not all companies, of course).

cgmp colonixXtend-Life by all appearances is very keen on product quality. They tout their adherence to FDA guidelines and throughout their site. Xtend-Life makes all their own products in their own manufacturing plant. That plant and all their products are “current good manufacturing practices” or GMP-compliant and meet FDA-registered protocols as well. The GMP audit is yearly and quite rigorous — you can read some of its elements here.

As of 2010, it is now the law in the US that all supplement companies are GMP compliant. This audit is overseen by one of five organizations and this company has maintained that quality standard since the early 2000 period. They say, “We test every batch [of nutrients] to ensure that the specification for disintegration [of nutrients in the stomach] is met according to the British Pharmacopeia which is even more stringent than the US Pharmacopeia.”

Zupafood Greenz Features & Benefits

Let’s now get into the specifics of this product. Xtend-Life says on the box that the product is

Xtend-Life Superfoods

“Beyond superfoods…The new frontier in advanced nutrition.” As I look over the ingredients, it certainly caught my interest, which ingredients I will discuss momentarily.

The product is designed to give you a blast of much needed nutrition. Specifically, this product’s value proposition is that it:

“…can assist by giving your organs and systems a helping hand by supplying specialized nutrients difficult to come by in a normal diet.”

That is its core competency and purpose. The company says it can help facilitate that superior health through its unique nutrient profile. The ingredients are what really make it unique. They are:

  • Grape seed extract
  • Grape skin extract
  • Kiwifruit extract — excellent for helping promote digestion and assimilation of nutrients
  • Kiwifruit powder
  • Grape juice powder
  • Organic wheat grass — this may be the most potent ingredient in this mix. Wheat grass is renowned for its rejuvenating properties. It is filled with nutrients as well
  • Organic barley grass — another superfood in this superfood supplement. Rich in nutrients and an excellent addition to this formula. Some consider barley grass a wonder food.
  • Apple fiber powder
  • Aquamin TG — this is a bio-available calcium that is derived from marine algae. Its purpose is to support the body’s vascular and nervous systems.
  • Green tea extract
  • Organic spirulina — An alkaline micro-algae with high levels of vitamins, minerals and other co-factors including amino acids. Rightly termed a superfood.
  • Organic chlorella — this helps your cells detoxify themselves. It helps to reduce metal and chemical toxicity in your body
  • Natural mango flavoring — this flavoring comes from real mangos

The taste is also not that bad. I was pleasantly surprised actually. The mango, kiwi and apple fiber powder really dwarf the other ingredients that I personally know are not that tasty — like spirulina. Not that it tastes as good as say Italian soda, but it’s more than tolerable. Usually with drinks like this (like my psylliuZupafood Greenzm seed/slippery elm fiber drink) I drink it only as it’s good for me and certainly not for taste. This is not that bad at all.

If you choose to test this out as I have, I think you’ll be surprised. The only negative to the taste is the very slight aftertaste that has a distinctive taste of barley grass, but it’s not overpowering and disappears in seconds.

Zupafood Greenz Side Effects

This product is safe. I’ve not noticed any side effects with this product. Right on the packaging it says the product is “gluten, dairy and preservative free.” Moreover, they say that the product has “no artificial flavoring” either. The product appears to be safe in every respect for the ingredients fundamentally are just food. Nevertheless, it is always wise to talk to a physician when starting a new supplement.

Price

This particular product sells for $42.20 USD (United States Dollar). For that price you get exactly 30 packets, which is basically a month’s supply.

Guarantee

Xtend-Life has one of the best guarantees in the entire supplement industry. I’m being objective when I say that. They have a 365-day money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Customer Reviews

As this is a new product offered by Xtend-Life, there are not a lot of reviews. Here are a few:

I аm vеrу hарру wіth Zuраfооd for skin as іt hаѕ mаkе mу ѕkіn mоrе moist аnd less saggy аnd аlѕо there іѕ thіѕ ѕmаll pigmentation оn my lеft сhееk аnd i can see іѕ ѕlоwlу fаdіng.

My desire to do a comprehensive review of it is one of the reasons why I bought it. I took the above photos with the red background on my iPhone the other day. The bottle shaker is small and the packets are, too. The box is small as well, not that that’s bad. The smell is “greenish” and earthy but the taste, as discussed above, is surprisingly good. It definitely tastes better than other green superfood products I’ve tried.

Pros

  • All Xtend-Life products are GMP-compliant and are made in a FDA registered facility
  • It has a one-year product guarantee
  • Shipping is free
  • The product is made in New Zealand, which requires all supplement products to meet rigid standards via their Ministry of Health guidelines
  • The product seems to meet a real need in bolstering nutritional deficits for men and women
  • Contains no peanut, soy, shellfish, gluten or dairy

Cons

  • It takes 14 to 18 days to get your product as it ships from New Zealand
  • It’s a new product
  • The shaker bottle is too small
  • The company is dishonest in its business practices. I have personally experienced this

Where Can I Buy Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenz?

Xtend-Life Zupafood GreenzYou can buy it here, today December 21st, 2023, but you are free to choose. I don’t recommend Xtend-Life anymore, though. So, what’s the verdict? I give this a 1.0 out of 5.0 due to the dishonest business practices the company engages in. It is unfortunate as the company was an avante-garde leader at one point but since the Matthews family sold the company, the new leadership opts for dishonesty over morality.

I hope this review of the Xtend-Life Zupafood Greenz superfood product has been helpful to you.
