Welcome to the review of the Xtend-Life Systemic Care, a vitamins for diabetics product. This is in literal truth an Advanced Diabetic Formula and is a carefully crafted advanced formula that will support multi-betic issues.

(By the way, it should be noted that Systemic Care used to be called Systemic Care. Only the name has changed, not the product’s ingredients.)

This product is manufactured by supplement manufacturer Xtend-Life, a New Zealand-based company. Its purpose is for the remedy and/or protection against conditions related to diabetes and diabetes itself.

The Systemic Care product is their foray into the dietary supplements for diabetes market of which their is a goodly demand.

This product, Systemic Care, has been formulated to support organs with their insulin production and glucose metabolism and to thus facilitate optimum function of the related systems.

One key selling point Xtend-Life asserts is that this product is natural and has no side effects. It also doesn’t cause or facilitate any allergic reaction. Some erroneously believe that Systemic Care produces insulin. But that is not the case. The insulin isn’t produced by its ingredients. Xtend-Life says that as that is the case, one who supplements it will not therefore have an allergic reaction to it.

Furthermore, Xtend-Life says, “This means it works with your body to help your body to function properly itself, not forcing your body to do something it cannot or should not do. This is why it has no side effects, because the body is working itself, not being forced by chemicals!”

With many becoming increasingly disenchanted with harsh pharmaceutical drugs that are riddled with terrible side effects and minimal results, this product might be of interest for those looking for a vitamin supplement for diabetics.

Main Features of the Xtend-Life Systemic Care Product

The Systemic Care product has 31 ingredients. These ingredients include vitamins, minerals as well as distilled herbal extracts. The extract process actually meets British Pharmacopeia standards, which is very impressive. It’s a top health and fitness product.

There are two key steps that make this a rare supplement. First, the raw ingredients are pharmaceutical-grade quality ingredients. How can this be? The raw nutrients are tested to see if they meet that quality for purity by third-party, independent laboratories that are cGMP-compliant facilities. Next, the company certifies themselves in their own cGMP compliant facility.

This is a standard operating procedure for the New Zealand-based Xtend-Life. These cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) is the highest standard possible and a prime indicator of sterling product quality. You will see many supplement companies tout their NSF for Sport GMP compliance, and this is laudable and an indicator of superb quality. However, Xtend-Life goes a step past that. Their products are pharmaceutical grade.

Xtend-Life says that their entire supplement line of products, including the Systemic Care product, are in compliance with FDA pharmaceutical drug standards. Their herbal extraction process meets British Pharmacopoeia  standards, in fact.

Another sign of high quality (and not the only one) is how the product is blended. Let me explain.

During the manufacturing process, the raw ingredients of Systemic Care are blended via pharmaceutical blending, This is a departure from the traditional vitamin company that uses what is called paddle/ribbon, blender mixing. Why is this noteworthy? Because this ensures equal dispersal of the raw nutrients ensuring each tablet has the same potency. Next, tend-Life creates what is called a Certificate of Analysis (COA). That COA is not only filed for retrieval by inspectors or customers, but it is also stamped on the bottle label. Each bottle has the COA on it with its unique batch number, confirming the raw ingredients’ purity and contaminant-free state.

Not many supplement or vitamin makers do this. In fact, only a handful meet the rigorous cGMP compliant standards. Xtend-Life is justifiably proud of this as it is expensive to do so.

How Do I Know If This Supplement is Working For Me?

Most diabetics track their blood sugar levels, of course, and the company says you should begin there as a reference point.

Xtend-Life says one should supplement with Systemic Care for at a minimum of 12 months for maximum effect. To some this may appear to be an effort simply to sell product and that is certainly an understandable position.

However, Xtend-Life asserts that the absolute best way to know if Systemic Care is working is the glycated haemoglobin or HbA1c test. This test is also called the AIC test. That test will provide a unbiased view of your average blood glucose control for the preceding two or three months. Xtend-Life says that will give you a very good idea as to how your supplement/treatment plan or test with Systemic Care is proceeding.

What’s The Price of Xtend-Life Systemic Care?

Today, December 22nd, 2023, one bottle sells for $74.00 USD (United States Dollar) for 180 enteric-coated tablets. Xtend-Life says on their bottle and in their literature that one needs to take six tablets of Systemic Care per day. That is essentially a month’s supply. If you follow the other option of four tablets per day, that will make the bottle last a month and a half.

This product is not recommended, though, as the company Xtend-Life is dishonest in its business practices.

Customer Issues or Complaints?

While it is a non-issue for most, a few of the Xtend-Life Systemic Care ingredients are derived from soy.

If you’re allergic to soy (and many are without knowing about it), you might want to seriously consider talking to your doctor first so he/she can sanction its usage. Xtend-Life says they believe it should be safe as the amounts are small, however, to be safe, consider talking to your doctor. It should also be noted that this product has no shellfish-, gluten-, dairy- or peanut-derived or synthesized byproducts.

The most common complaint Xtend-Life receives, their customer service representative told me, is that some think Systemic Care is too costly. That complaint is common to Xtend-Life for all of its products, I was told. One bottle is $68.95 USD per bottle and seems, on the surface, way too much. Xtend-Life says it could actually be more costly if it they didn’t sell their products and Systemic Care directly from their Xtend-Life website.

The prime reason as to their products cost point, though, is that this product and all their products are quite literally pharmaceutical-grade quality products. That is rare in the supplement industry, generally speaking.

It should also be noted that In New Zealand, a country just south of Australia where Xtend-Lilfe’s facilities are, supplement companies or manufacturers are regulated by their government’s equivalent of the American U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), namely, their Ministry of Health.

Thus, Xtend-Life’s products actually not only meet FDA standards but some of their procedures like their herbal extraction processes or standards meet British Pharmacopoeia as well. This bodes well for the consumer with this product and other Xtend-Life supplements.

So, that’s why the Xtend-Life Systemic Care product seems to cost more.
