The probiotic line of Myofusion caught my eye when it came time to order new protein. I had previously always purchased Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, Double Rich Chocolate, 5 Pound (easiest on my stomach, no gassy aftermath), but I was willing to switch it up and decided to try the Myofusion Probiotic. I have used Myofusion in the past, but I was interested to see what the effects of the added probiotics were.I must say it helped keep me regular. I took it every morning before work and after workouts, and like clockwork 4-5 hours later I would need to go. Nothing explosive, it just kinda loosened things up a little I guess you could say. The taste was OK, not the best. It had the usual Myofusion taste to it. If you have tried the regular and could handle it, this tastes fine. I had the cookies and cream flavor, and I found the real cookie chunks interesting, like a little mid-shake snack! It mixed fine with just water in a shaker bottle. Recovery time was the same as ON Gold Standard.

My thoughts after finishing the tub…
While the probiotics were a nice gimmick, the protein is more expensive the Optimum and I switched back. I might pick up some probiotics and just supplement with those…it’s way cheaper than including it within the protein. I’m not sure I would recommend this to a friend, but if you are looking for a protein powder with a nice blend of different types of protein, then I could recommend this for sure. I am just not sold on the idea that the different types of protein make a huge difference. Can my body really tell the difference? I don’t know.

Great product and it tastes like heaven. I believe this to be a blend so it could be used as a meal replacement. It is really thick and I would recommend using more water than it directs. I gave it 4 stars because it gave me horrible gas and always made me want to poop. I know it is a pro biotic, but I wasn’t expecting this much gas. Other than that, great product. It fills me up in between meals for a long period and I look forward to drinking it.
